Things Could Be About To Get Even More Serious In Westeros

While there are moments of levity that stem from sure more comedic characters , the earth of Westeros is a dangerous one , and the violence is brutal , bloody , and often shocking . TheHouse of the Dragonseason 1 finale , however , tease apart that things will only get more serious in the show ’s soph outing .

House of the Dragon ’s time of year 2 trailer has shown glimpses of two hefty mistakes Daemon and the Black Faction make in the Dance of the Dragons .

With Rhaenyra and Alicent no longer in their teenaged days , the conflict between them will now carry with it a more serious tone of voice , specially with Lucerys Velaryon ’s ( Elliot Grihault ) ball over decease in the finale . As theHouse of the Dragonseason 2 lagger also teases , King Aegon II Targaryen becomes a Joffrey - like figure , seemingly choose to rule through violent means rather than honorable ones . The house trailer also teases that some of the tale will take place in the North in season 2 , and this icy , dark landscape painting could make the integral show find a little more gritty and serious .
