The first thing was we want to leave one side , one of the four side just for Mitsuda - san alone . And yeah , from there it was basically , so Eric [ Brown ] , our main composer , had to do the hard job of picking his own nipper , his favourite . So we kind of die by subject - of course you need a boss battle trail , of course you need a townsfolk track , you need more lively unity , more moody ones .
But I think in terms of the vinyl , the main thing about it , again , in go physical is that you commit to the listening experience , right ? We ’re in the earned run average of hitting next or have your preferred track on repetition and just skip to your favorite part and listening to it three multiplication in a dustup . You do n’t really do that with a vinyl radical reader .
So it was done with an understanding that it ’s more of an investment , and that with a vinyl it ’s likely that someone will genuinely be thinking , " Oh , this afternoon my activity is to heed to euphony . And I myself , I have a retro collection as well . I like cause all the honest-to-god cartridges and everything . And I just feel like there ’s a type of soul to it that I ’m committing a bit more to pieces that stayed with me .

Yeah , and I think it ’s really something that those who are in the fandom will really love . And I mean , the reception forSea of Starsand its going has been incredible , truly so . I ’m curious what you ’ve considered maybe the most surprising or entertaining reaction from buff that you ’ve date since the game release ?
Thierry Boulanger : Hands down , the biggest one was receive some feedback or letter from parents who play with their children . And there ’s one specific one I ’m thinking about . So there ’s this six - year - old girl , and her dad wrote in , speak very honestly about how we all had this click bit with games when we were shaver . And essentially he was saying , " She had that mo through your game and we bonded over this and we now have this , gambling is now a part of our liveliness together and our relationship and it was the gateway . "
Because that was very much the design and the way that the plot was designed and presented , to be very dewy-eyed and to invoke to a sense of simplicity . I just wanted to give you sort of a summertime vacation with your inner baby , if that makes sense .
For some people , the takeout food that they beget was that maybe it was too simple or something or they were look for something thicker or more serious . Thierry Boulanger : Well , we ’re always monitoring demand and what people - as you know , and especially working with iam8bit , is we just need to make it a good version that hoi polloi genuinely require to have and to own as a product because it signify something to them . We ’re not just trying to send plastic . So we are paying care to what citizenry would care to see , and we ’ll be there if there ’s consuming demand .

Thierry Boulanger : Well , from my puerility , it would be for certain Chrono Trigger .
