Ahsokaseason 2 was confirmedin January alongside the announcement ofThe Mandalorian & Grogu , and now Dawson has hinted at some new challenge her part will have to confront inAhsokaseason 2 .
While speaking with theSAG - AFTRA Foundation , Dawson spoke about Ahsoka ’s journey , from her time in the Clone Wars toAhsokaseason 1 , and she remark her excitement about continuing that account inAhsokaseason 2 .
" It just was so gravid to be able to see her get that lightness back , and it make me very frantic for a season 2 and being capable to explore even more as she ’s made more heartsease with her yesteryear , where she can kind of face more to the future , and again face those particular challenge . Because that ’s the matter I love about Star war : you ’re constantly conflicted , you ’re perpetually provoke , you know ? And just because she ’s kind of come to a dissimilar kind of discernment for herself does n’t mean she wo n’t be quiz again . And it ’d be so nerveless to see her doing it from this space now where she ’s got a Padawan , she ’s made a lot of heartsease with her wise man , and she has a more , kind of , confidence I reckon , in herself and what she ’s opt thus far in the journey . "

Ahsoka Isn’t Looking To The Past Anymore… But What Does Her Future Hold?
The apprentice of Anakin Skywalker , Ahsoka Tano was an accomplished Padawan who served during the Clone Wars . Ahsoka left the Jedi after she became disillusioned with the Jedi Council , but returned to serve in the Siege of Mandalore at the end of the Clone Wars . She exist fiat 66 , becoming a Rebel federal agent during the Dark Times of the Empire ’s reign , and her dangerous undertaking continue in the New Republic era . Ahsoka was last seen ground in a distant galaxy , having fail to prevent Grand Admiral Thrawn ’s return .
There have already been some greattheories aboutAhsokaseason 2 , especially after the precarious situation the ending ofAhsokaseason 1 put its main case in . With Ahsoka , Sabine , Shin Hati , and Baylan Skoll all stuck on Peridea , and with Grand Admiral Thrawn making his grand regaining to theStar Warsgalaxy , there are quite a few waysAhsokaseason 2 could massively pretend the future of the franchise . There ’s also the matter of Ahsoka ’s destiny on a personal level . She still has to civilize Sabine , who at long last unlocked her Force potential , and she has to find a way back to the chief galaxy .
It ’s also possible thatAhsokaseason 2 wo n’t break up its plot line at all , but instead set up monumental confrontation for otherStar Warsstories . Thrawn may become the villain ofThe Mandalorian & Grogu , which has been touted as the windup of the New Republic era ofStar Warsshows . Baylan ’s mission in Peridea could also be far more calamitous than it presently seems , and he could be trying to attack the Force itself . It seemsAhsokaseason 2 will storm Ahsoka to choose between two impossible fights , and she ’ll need every piece of growth she ’s experienced so far to live .
