That was my reaction when I first heard about this project , but guess what?Rocky Balboareally works . I ’m happy Stallone revisted the character that put him on the single-valued function because he did a heck of a job with this film . or else of suffering from " sequel - itis " it feel like the closing chapter of a great story .
Rocky Balboashows us a Rocky who has come full traffic circle : He ’s back in his old neighborhood , populate in a small flat with very modest means . When a computerized match-up between Rocky and Dixon is broadcast by ESPN showing that if both belligerent came together at their prime Rocky would have won , Dixon ’s sleazy impresario decide this would be a great direction to bestow the high dollar back to Dixon ’s fights . This becomes a possibility because Rocky approached the fight mission recently , wanting to get license to get into the ring again for some depressed - degree boxing to endeavor to fulfill the void in his life .
