Jumping frontward from the stage setting of the first report to that world ’s 1992 , Adrian Veidt ’s brilliant dodge to save human beings has been uncovered , making him the planet ’s most want man ( killing one thousand thousand of masses will do that ) . And with the human beings once again returned to the start of atomic war , Dr. Manhattan may be the only thing potent enough to stop it . The problem for Rorschach , first on the case , and Veidt , should he strain to economize the worldagain … is that Manhattan ’s nowhere to be found .
It ’s here where the story of theWatchmenreality and that of the DC Universe’sRebirthmay overlap directly . After all , Manhattan ’s last Word of God before stray off to go forth Veidt to his fate were musings of act God , and creating life of his own . On the other , a getting even Rorschach and Ozymandias ( so far ) in search of that same villain , the only probability they have left to lay aside their world . And with both the Justice League and the surviving Watchmen after the same matter , they may join forces before the destruction .
